Hi, I'm Eve.

I am a Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in private practice in Perth.

I’ve worked as a midwife in Edinburgh, London, Sydney, Mount Isa and now Perth—and no matter where I was, one thing remained the same: new mums were not getting the support they needed to breastfeed confidently.

After having my own challenging pregnancy and a late preterm baby, I faced every breastfeeding challenge in the book—cracked nipples, low supply, weight worries, and a tidal wave of conflicting advice!

I knew something had to change.

So I created Best Start Breastfeeding. This is what I wish I had: honest, practical, and grounded in real-life experience.

Fun facts about me:

I’m from a ski resort in the Scottish Highlands
I have two teenage boys (send help 😅)
I backpacked Oz and worked as a Jillaroo!
I love the outdoors, bushwalks, camping and books by the fire
My black lab is named Haggis 🐾
